Harvest | Cinnamon & Clove

Harvest – Luke 10:2
“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

When I think of the harvest, I think back to when I was younger and lived in a community where the soil was rich and perfect for growing potatoes. Our small town thrived due to a great percentage of the townsfolk working in the local factory that processed the potatoes for fries, hash browns, etc. At harvest time many people would take a temporary job for three – four weeks and work on the diggers…picking rocks and debris from the potatoes. I never did work on the diggers but I did work at the factory for ten years.

These days my thoughts regarding the harvest have more to do with people than potatoes. My time is mainly spent with those that have battled or are battling addictions and other destructive lifestyles. The words of Luke 10:2 serve as a constant reminder that the harvest of souls in need is vast and unending. As I reflect on my past experiences and my current journey, I am reminded of the importance of compassion, outreach, and prayer. Let us join together in praying for more laborers to bring hope, healing, and transformation to those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference in this great harvest of humanity.

The Scent:

A rich spicy blend of cinnamon and clove is balanced with sweet gourmand tones and butter cream and sweetened with rich vanilla to tempt the senses.

The Notes:

Top:  cinnamon, clove, butter cream

Mid:  leaves, acorns, spice cake

Base:  tonka bean, vanilla musk

Fragrance Level:  Moderate

Fragrance Oils: We are doing our best to ensure that all of our fragrance oils are the safest possible on the market today. They will not contain phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins or acute toxins.

The Wax: 100% soy wax that is ethically produced and paraffin free.

The Wick: Made specifically for soy wax, they are braided cotton with a special paper filament woven around them – free from all metals, i.e., zinc or lead.

The Vessel: Available in a 10oz or 4oz concrete jar and 3oz wax melts. Our concrete jar is red and brown swirled together. It comes with a dust cover to keep the top clean. Each vessel is handmade and no two are the same. We seal the inside of our jars with non-toxic, water-based sealer to prevent wax or fragrance oil from seeping through. The outside of the jar is an unsealed matte finish.
